…the opportunity to constantly be stretched and taken to the edge of my comfort zone, all the while working with great people; the type of people I care about and am happy to have a beer with. I’m proud to help clients solve the tremendously complex rational, political and emotional challenges they’re struggling with.
I explain it as being thrown right in at the deep end… repeatedly. At first, there’s a lot to cope with, but you always figure it out – and just as you’re comfortable, you get thrown in at the deep end again. And again. And again. And it’s fun – consulting at Capgemini is fun. It’s fun because it’s not just about the numbers but about achieving something great together. Great colleagues, great client relationships, great outcomes for our clients.
With two young children at home, the vast majority of my non-working time is devoted to my family and enjoying them to the absolute fullest. The little cracks of time that remain I try to spend on racetracks, drinking great craft beers (especially Belgian), listening to indie music or eating great food.

At a macro level, helping many different retailers achieve truly transformational outcomes for their colleagues, their customers and their bottom line – and in particular, having unknowing shoppers describe the difference that we have made. At a more micro level, I have countless memories of intense thinking, big ideas, bigger simplicity and loud laughter in project rooms, working with our best and brightest people.
